With the advent of sites like napster.com, music is no longer being distributed only through a retail store, but now is sold, distributed, and shared between peer-to-peer, and business-consumer sites. Musicplanet.com was created before Napster.com but with the simple concept that the Internet was a great place for Bands to communicate their music around the world and locally.

Musicplanet.com continues to be modified and updated and will soon be a PHP / MySQL dynamic site. The updated site will enable members to manage their own content whether it is individual or band information. Additionally, members will be able to download songs in RealAudio or MP3 formats.
